The series Wesen captures my intuition in drawing.
It’s an act of flow, surrender and trust to let the drawing unfold, in its very own expression.

Wesen asks the viewer to pause, to look closer – otherwise their essence stays hidden.
They are an invitation to stand still, and for a moment be with and feel an ethereal expression.

The series currently consists of 46 different Wesen (numbered, drawn between October 2025 and February 2026), and is continuously growing.

I work with fineliner on MD Japanese paper (thick),
